I am also looking for this as I just changed my wheels and tires and installed Eibach Prokit springs.

The shop I'm getting an alignment from doesn't have the specs so I'm going to call a dealer and see if they do.

Hi guys,

My car is driven me crazy because of a bad wheel alignment and nobody has the standard alignment specs close to where I live.

Last time I went to a car center they used the MK6 specs and now I have to keep my wheel a little bit to the right to my car go straight ahead; They tried to correct but after 3 times I quit;

I was looking on google and here, but I only found the GTI MK6 specs.

Could somebody help me with the standards of MK7 1.4 TSI with multilink rear suspension?

Thanks

Called Agincourt VW in Toronto. Spoke to a Service Manager. He looked up my VIN but then told me that it's was not possible to tell me the specs. He said that the way the machine works is that you put the car on the rack and enter the VIN and the computer does it. Not sure if he's just too lazy to give me the specs.

He said any place that has a computerized system should be able to do the same. I'm trying to get it done at Level Auto (Toronto) after reading such good experiences on this forum. Level Auto said that they don't have the specs.

I might try another dealer or just let Level Auto do it with the Mk6 specs.

On a side note the dealer charges $300 for alignment and Level auto is $79.

Just called Town and Country VW (Toronto). The Service Manager said that they get the specs on CD and they haven't received it from VW yet.

I'm passing the same problem:

- the dealer's alignment machine is broken and the VW answer my contact about the specs with a "NO", because this is confidential info.

- the car centers doesn't have the MK7 specs

So I need to drive 100 km or keep the wheel out of center

Just waiting on the specs to be emailed to me. Will post them up once they come through. If they come through, it's Volkswagen service so see how we go...

Nice.

I struck out with a couple of dealers but last night I created a user on the erWin system and paid 5 euros for 1 hr of access to the VW technical manuals.

Ok, VW service emailed it over to me the full alignment specs for Golf's, very impressive they sent it over straight away.
I've PDF'd is so everyone can grab a copy if needed.

Hey Dawson, thank you.

Can you help me with another thing: how could I identify the front axle and rear axle? Standard, sport, raised or DCC.
my car is a german Golf MK7 TSI 1.4 140 hp with 7 gear DSG. Multilink in the rear.

Look at the vehicle data sticker to get the PR numbers. The vehicle data sticker can be found in the spare wheel well and in the service schedule.

If you look at the 6th collumn from the left (3rd from the right) and 4 rows down. That should be the PR number for the front axle. It starts with a "G".

This is what I have from the erWin workshop manual online. Dawson's is a bit different but the specs match. There are 2 manuals, one for 2013+ Mk7 and one for 2014+ Mk7. Mine's from the 2014+ and it's possible that Dawson has is from the 2013+. But who knows.
Standard running gear: G01/G02 +2UA
Sports running gear: G01/G02 +2UC
Raised running gear: G01/G02 +2UF
DCC running gear: G03

Sorry not sure how to identify the different suspension set ups apart from what it says on the list and to be honest what I'm 100% looking at with the alignment sheet, what I've uploaded is exactly what the VW service emailed to me. Might be slightly different because its VW Australia?

My info on the vehicle sticker is accurate and straight from the VW Workshop Manual on the erWin system. I can email the entire wheel alignment section if you need it. It has an example pic of the vehicle data sticker.

The erWin system is an online portal for service shops. You enter the VIN and all the relevant manuals are available. My GTI VIN and my wife's Golf VIN show the same manuals with info on all Golf models globally that are not Estates/Wagons.
