Hi all, I am hoping someone can help me with 2 issues that I have with my gtd.
Both of the issues should be visible in the YouTube link below.
1. About 1 in every 10-15 times on start up you turn the key and get nothing other than a bit of electrical whirring and a lit up dash including a flashing coil light. Turn the ignition off and then start it up again and it starts, very weird.
2. Fault - Vehicle Lighting warning message comes up on start up. I have searched the forums and there are a couple of posts saying it could be cornering lights etc but all lights have been checked and everything working. VW specialist plugged in and could find no faults and said it could be light sensor in windscreen but that has been changed and same problem.
If anyone has a possible solution to either issue then please share because the car has been to my local garage and it’s been to a VAG independent and they can’t find any faults in the car. It’s booked in to main dealer next week so I’m fully prepared to have my pants pulled down but hoping that someone on here will be able to assist to save me getting robbed.
Either way I will post the answer to the problem on here once dealer has looked at it just in case anyone is suffering the same issues.
