Oh man that sucks. I feel that way with my europlate on the front bumper. Luckily, it’s still holding on to 3M for a year by now.

I’m gonna use the cone looking cap that it came with to get fine lines when setting the glue.

Curious, anyone know what this is for?

Trying to install the flares now. This install is messy asf. The adhesive is super sticky and stick to your hand. Im trying to have the flare hold on but its kinda a Btch to glue onto the bumper


How long should I let it sit with tape for the glue to heal? 2 hours?

They hide the instructions well, but it looks like 6 hours. I'd leave it overnight.

I’ll say this I made a mess of glue onto the flares and the body since it got onto my hands. Gonna hit the areas with goo gone.

Saw the flares from far and it makes the car look like I have a new front bumper. All I need is a splitter and headlights then the front is done. Great mod. Can’t wait till I take off the tape to take pics

Yeah... headlights help. especially when driving at night...

I'd let the glue to dry for at least 24 hours.

Did the part of the cover that went around the light make contact with the bumper? Mine only makes contact on the lower part. I have not installed mine yet.

The vertical part of the cover. Mine doesn't fully make contact with the bumper.

I see what you mean. I actually have one side that sits flush and the other doesn’t. It could’ve been better but the tape didn’t have enough pressure to hold it back.

Excuse the mess. Gotta clean it up. The flares a very strong now onto the bumper. At first when adding the adhesive it doesn’t stick at all. If you’re going the install by yourself be quick on putting the tape cuz if you just leave the flare there it will fall. The first flare I installed came out 100x’s better than the 2nd flare. I might go ahead and add some more glue onto the edges that came out nasty to make them look cleaner

Might wanna hold/press it on for a few minutes to give the glue some time to harden. Also need to be careful on driveways/scraping, the flexing cause it to separate. Lots of glue on the bottom portion!
