SRS-Tec Front Bumper Flares

I stumbled across these flares for the front bumper the other day and have been looking around to see if anyone else had them. Sadly, I can't find anything except the same renderings as on the website and lots of Mk6s with their version of those flares.

So, just out of curiosity, has anyone seen these or possibly have them installed? I'm kind of tempted to pick them up just to see what they look like in person.

EDIT: I went ahead an purchased these pieces and just received them today. I've posted a few pictures of the unpainted parts on page 4 of the thread.

EDIT 2: Just updating to show off some painted and installed pictures as well as answer any questions. I apologize for the delayed update, but I ended up having to have a body shop work on the parts as just painting them wouldn't have been a pretty sight. Some poor weather and other projects popping up also delayed my installation. Anyway, I've created an Imgur album with some pictures of various angles(day and night); feel free to request more.

Right? I really can't tell from the renderings if it's supposed to be a mesh for the lights to shine through or if it's actually blacked out. The Mk6 variant of these vents does seem to black out the foglights, though. I'm still waiting on a reply from SRS to confirm whether they do or not.

If they don't block the lights, I'll probably buy them. If they do..I might still buy them and figure out how to remove the mesh. If they are a total fog delete I'd probably pass; I love the fogs.

Edit: Confirmed via SRS that the Mk7 variant does not delete the fogs.

You're not looking at the right part. That's a sport so it doesn't have fog lights, the piece they're selling is a cover extending the outer, upper, and lower edge like the club sport brake ducting scoops

They look good, someone should see if they'll do a group buy and ship a few dozen sets stateside in one shot. I'd be in at $100 USD

Maybe; I don't believe they have the Sport trim in the UK, so all GTIs would have fogs correct? But like I said, the Mk6 variant does delete the fogs and has the same mesh. It's hard to tell from the pictures whether that mesh is also a part of the render.

Hopefully I'll find out soon enough and I might as well inquire about a group buy while I'm at it(if there's interest).

Really? They delete fogs? Lol if they were functional scoops with fender liners ducted to match I might consider it but I'm out if it just covers the fogs

Let us know what you find out, I'm really curious now

I've confirmed with SRS that the Mk7 variant does not delete the fogs. Still talking with them to answer a few more questions, but I have to use Deutsche as I think they used google to translate my first email and it came out hard to understand.
