I'm pretty sure my spring is rubbing against the spring/wheel well when turn the wheel after my install of bilstein b6, ebaich pro kit, 034 camster plates. Only on the driver side.. the passenger side is fine.
Anyone ever experience this?
wheel does turn and spring does turn.
is it possible an alignment can fix it?
any tips appreciated.

You might be able to shift the subframe a little. I don't have firsthand experience with it on the mk7, but I've seen it be an issue on other stuff.

Upon further inspection, I confirmed that my ebaich pro kits are indeed rubbing on the strut tower chasis.
Infact, I found that they where rubbing on the seam sealer and not the metal.
The seam sealer has a rubber like texture, so when the spring rubs on it, it creates quite a narly squeaking creaking sound when turning the wheel.

My ebaichs are contacting the seam sealer slightly because of the change in geometry from the 034 camster strut mounts that add 1.5-camber and 1deg caster.
They only contact when the suspension is fully loaded.

I contacted 034, they said they only test on oem and there own springs and basicly cannot garuantee fitment beyond that.

I was able to reduce the noise significantly by filing down the seam sealer with a metal file.(i also pulled the strut mount outward from the car as much as possible from the top)

both side springs are contacting the seam sealer at different points in turning, but the driver side was significantly worst due to the springs having diff orientations on each side.

My advice to anyone considering 034 camster plates or any geometry changing plates is to keep this in mind.

It caused me quite a headache, and even a reputable shop couldnt identify the cause of the sound after i installed it myself then took it in for the noise.(they told me it was the mount or the bearing)

My alignment showed that my subframe is within spec. maybe a shift in caster might have helped or just changed where the spring would rub.
