I have for sale my Stoptech ST60 kit off my MK7, with one catch - I would highly recommend replacing one caliper. While disassembling the caliper for cleaning, I discovered one of the bleeder screws was extremely tight. I was able to get it loose, but the screw came out with pretty much all the threads from the bleeder port attached. I attempted to re-thread the port with tap, then attempted to drill out the stripped section and place in an insert, but was unsuccessful. The other caliper is completely fine and does not need any work.
The way I see it you would have two options. Option 1) Replace the caliper. You can order a replacement from Zeckhausen Racing, part no ACS.637.1151. It is $895 and will take 12-15 weeks to ship (thats for a matching black one, red is in stock apparently). Option 2) Plug this hole and weld it shut, only bleed out of one side. Probably simpler but beyond my capabilities.
The rotors are at 30.8mm (minimum 30, start 32). They can be replaced with Girodisc rotor rings when needed for $700 (cheaper than Stoptech and better quality IMO), but they should last awhile. I will also include three sets of pads. Pagid RSL29 at 8.5mm, EBC Red at 9mm, Stoptech Sports at 12mm.
So basically, you're in $1400 for the whole kit that should last a bit, or $2100 if ya wanna really ball out and have fresh Girodisc rotors. Lot cheaper than the new kit that is $3300. I'm selling my car and need to clear out space for parts for my other cars, hence why I'd rather sell now than rebuild and sell a complete kit for more later.
