8 inch glass with physical buttons....I do not believe vw had a screen in the 8 inch size that had only capacitive that to my understanding was only on the 9 inch

The glass screen only had capacitive buttons, but the 8" still had physical knobs. The non-glass matte 8" screen had physical buttons.

Based on what you're saying, it sounds like the trim you have is for the middle one. Hope this helps clarify what you're setlling!

That is correct it is for the Middle pictured screen
