I’ve been contemplating upgrading to an is38, but right now I’m on a stage 2 e30 tune on the stock is20.

you think I should expect similar numbers running straight 93 on an IS38?? Is it even worth the Upgrade without a custom ethanol tune

Jimlloyd40 - And that is where you would be wrong. You can buy the IHI turbo for that but not an OEM VW Turbo. The $950 is for the bare bones turbo and does not include anything else. The OEM kit for the VW is $1295 and does not include the racing plugs $120 or the turbo blanket $75. I appreciate that you are still trying to help me out.
