I had a 23 VR6 SEL loaner for a few days the other week and I did not hate it. Reasonably nimble on its feet, smooth etc. I even got like 22 hand calc’d mpg on a highway trip which makes it more cost effective than my 27-28 hand calc Touareg running diesel.

The only thing I didn’t love was the perhaps overly sensitive throttle? You couldn’t keep a constant speed with your foot. You were either accelerating or decelerating.

But yeah I enjoyed it, and would totally get an exhaust if I ever owned one (which I won’t)

I already warned the wife I fully intend to build a Valved CBE for it if we end up in a VR6 Altas.

The race is on. Both are CPO 2022 SEL R Line Premium VR6 AWD, but the white has 32k and the silver 7.7k

Just ready to be done dealing with dealers lol.

Last chance for someone to buy this before I give it away to the dealership for them to mark it up & CPO it.

Yeah, the wife likes the white with no other info (and it just so happens to be 6k cheaper) so that probably the best bet.

They’re both a ton cheaper than a 2024 (especially the white one).

Still hard to stomach spending 10k more than the most expensive vehicle I’ve ever bought (the GLI).

Plot twist, the Atlas I drove an hour to trade the car on was trashed (originally from PA).

No way I’d buy a car with corrosion living in SC, so the GLI is still available.

Grew up in north central PA, this checks out haha. My Georgia MK7 is so much cleaner than my PA MKV was after a similar amount of time.

I grew up in Ohio, and a decade later just might still have some rust in my eyes from working on cars up there lol.

Ended up pulling the trigger on a 2021 Volvo XC 90 T6 Momentum rather than an Atlas.

Lived its first years in Florida as a lease so no rust & very well kept.

It was a lot better value options vs $. Atlas had to be a SEL to compete & unfortunately that was more than I wanted to spend (equal age & mileage)
