SOLD: 2021 GLI Autobahn DSG Pure Grey

The time has come to change up our fleet, and the GLI is up for grabs. Purchased new in March 2021 it currently has 37,000 miles, which will continue to go up slightly until a deal is made.

The Pure Grey paint was professionally ceramic coated & touched up after an extremely minor incident on the drivers front bumper (wet sanded only, no paint work was performed it was so minor).

The only other flaw to note on the entire car is a very small & shallow dent below the drivers side tail light.

Every piece of glass on the car is ceramic tinted, 50% on the windshield & 30% on the sunroof & remaining windows.

The OEM wheels have been professionally powder coated two tone black & red to replicate the 35th anniversary edition paint scheme, and are in perfect condition.

Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 tires have good tread, all measure 5/32 or more.
Liquid Moly 5w40 oil changes every 7~7,500 miles since new (original fill of 0w20 was drained shortly after new). Recent OEM air & cabin air filters.

Honestly surprised it hasn’t sold already lol - but is this the only place it’s been posted? This puppy oughtta move quick I’d think. Anyone in the market who is remotely familiar with you and your work would want this haha.

I always thought if next vehicle was a Suburban, it would be either a diesel or a 6.2

As I researched more, the most reliable engine was the 5.3 which sucks because it's underpowered i.e. you can't go 0-60 in 4s lol.

The 6.2 has lifter issues

The diesel has rms leak and no crank start issues

I had it in FB marketplace, then the wife got mad so I took it down, but it’s confirmed (officially for sale) & I came here to copy paste the listing and re post it on FB.

We looked at a bunch of different options today and it’s looking like a Suburban or Expedition Max as everything else has non existent cargo space if you’re using the third row (wife had to see this for herself).

She absolutely loves the GLI, and so do I, but unfortunately it doesn’t make sense to keep something that new as a “spare” when she really needs third row seating in a daily driver come spring.

All of the Chevy & ford for that matter powertrain have their issues, but that’s what a warranty is for I guess. Just crazy how expensive new SUV go for, it’s like my first house in Ohio lol.

Me too, but yeah just here and a week on FB so probably a pretty small pool of potential buyers.

I might put it on Autotrader if another few weeks on FB doesn’t do the trick.

Yep lol, not till March so we’ve got plenty of time. We’re not really telling people yet (wanna surprise the kids at a later ultrasound appointment). I feel like the forums are the last place my sister in law or buddies from work would be shopping our GLI so the secrets safe with you guys.

If it doesn’t sell I could always part out & sell the Mk7, then bag the GLI & keep it as a daily for myself. It does have a full 100k less miles on it than ol trusty.
