Did you trade in with all the upgrades?
Just curious what you got for it

yup left everything on it (even dogbone which causes some obvious NVH). i got appraised by 4 different dealers. Was offered $5000/$5,500/$6000/$6500. i traded in for $6500 which probably was higher than the others cause i negotiated the hardest. not a single dealer mentioned any upgrades.

im upset i didnt put it up for sale months ago cause i would have loved to let her go to someone that would appreciate the mods. the deals right now though were too good

I guess its a 5 yo car now, but just shocked that the trade in is that low. Maybe that's right, not sure. To the right buyer, I'm sure you would have been close to your asking price though.

What'd you trade for?

that steering wheel wrap looked good in pictures. Did you DIY? Did it hold up as good as it looks?

unfortunately with the low used car prices from covid-19 came low trade in valuations too. according to any online carfax based calculations it was considered fair. oh well.

i picked up a 2017 CPO jaguar xe 35t r sport rwd. last 4 cars were fwd so i was ready for some rear wheel action. gonna miss my golf but i'm loving the new whip

Yup DIY from aliexpress. i had my girlfriend sub in to do the hard corners knots and i did 95% of the rest which was tedious but oddly satisfying haha

It looked almost perfect but had excess where the paddles go. and from what i read my 1.8t paddles arent like the DSG paddles so it didnt fit perfect there. it kind of prevented the paddles from "clicking" when you used them, although they would still work and shift. but if you use the paddles often it would be very annoying. i was fine with it though

quality was great. holds up amazingly
