I didn't get any of those cool mirror pics, but it was a cool drive... some serious fog (didn't drive through much of this), then out to Malibu, cleared up nicely

At the point the Tiguan, which was part of the group, was going around to get in front of myself and 2-3 GTIs. I'm not sure why exactly, this was just on Pacific Coast Hwy, leisurely 10 minute part of the drive between some fun sections. Later in the hills, but arguably not soon enough, they would have to let us all pass as a we lost sight of the GTI that was in front of them. My TDI is certainly no GTI but it can definitely get away from a Tiguan in the hills, haha.

I saw this post and for some reason thought it was for next Sunday, which of course makes no sense because that will be the first Sunday in August . I did drive Angeles Forest Highway on Sunday though... and drove the Ojai route Saturday... nice drives. Too bad I missed the group drive though.

It’s still a month away but last sunday will be cruising the Malibu canyons again August 30th. Meeting in Woodland Hills.
