Snowplow damaged sideview mirror...Opportunity to change color...need advice

As the title states, the contracted snowplow damaged my passenger sideview mirror. After some emails back and forth, the contractor will be giving me $200 to reimburse me for the damage.

I currently have a Pure White 3-door GTI, and I am looking to get either red, white or black sideview mirrors since I found cheap replacements on ebay for $50.

Thoughts? Pictures would be great to see.

I have a set of white that came on my folding mirrors if you go that color.

edit: I'll ship them to you for $20, but I recommend spending the $200 on folding mirrors from Aliexpress.

Here you go.

Mine happened at the car wash. The mirror cap alone was $128.00 which came primed from VW. The car wash said they'd take care of it. I asked how much more it would cost to paint the other mirror cap. To my surprise they said "for your troubles we'll do them both-no charge" Nice car wash.

I had them match the red stripe across the front of the car which matches my red Oettinger front splitter. I was nervous about how it would look but I love how it came out and the compliments both in person and on line have been endless.

To top it off, I got Rockblokz mud guards with red letters. They help with the snow and grunge in a big way, well worth the investment.

Is it the entire mirror you need to replace or just the mirror cap?

Ali-express gloss black caps. Under $50. Good so far - 2 years. Add blue mirrors. Convex right is a big help.

Folding mirrors good option also. You will need programing help keep in mind.

If it's just mirror caps grab some bling and go with carbon fiber covers !

No, that is why I have the white set.
They came on the folding mirrors I bought.
Pretty sure you can buy the folding ones with white or black.
I just went with the cheapest because I have CSG.

Aliexpress ones come with caps and glass, European/DAP ones coming with neither (literally just the assembly and wiring).
