Alloy repairs

I have ordered them as an option on my mk7 is it worth getting the extra insurance to cover the alloys as I believe diamond cut alloys are more expensive to repair?

The insurance wouldn't replace alloys as a single alloy costs well over £500.

You are limited to 10 claims or £300 repair max and it won't cover a single claim over £150 so not, not worth it.

Nor is GAP, paint protection or dent cover from the dealers.

Good point, I agree with the above on the dealers extra insurance protections, I suppose the best option is to not clip alloys on curbs. I was thinking on a separate insurance just for scratches etc but it's probably not worth paying for.

Posted elsewhere but are the 18in Nogaros on the GTD Diamond Cut for the purposes of alloy insurance?

Yes they are. As are the Austins on the GTI, and the Santiagos as a 19" option.
