Simcity??

Was looking forward to this for a while now. Always been a Simcity fan. The new one looked pretty badass. You might have seen the commercials they've been playing lately. So I decided to pick it up on Wednesday & have yet to actually play a game. They made it online only, no single player & the servers can't handle all of the people at all.

I've been trying to log on for the past few days every now & then & finally got on this morning about 6 am before work, but... I had to go to work. The game says I've played 6 hours so far, but I only actually played about 5 minutes lol.

IGN.com & Gamespot.com both have front page articles bashing the game right now. Amazon gives it a rating of 1 star lol.

Anyone else get this shit? Worst game launch ever.

I'm currently playing it... now that the server issues are mostly fixed I really love it. I've been playing for hours each night from work.

Just got my "great work site" established.


Fun game if you are into the "simcity" series... although it takes a bit more work than the previous simcitys.

Dont buy the game, we cant support the cause. I hope this game fails and sends a message to these idiots.

Except thats probably not whats going to happen, EA will just think the game is out of steam and quit making it.

Tis a shame, a damn shame.

I just read this article about someone who pre-ordered and actually talked their way into a refund.

Just turned my "mining city" into a "casino" city. Making money hand over fist. Love the game... Still a few hiccups with their servers but I'm still happy. Again if you like simcity and are truly into the series then you'll love it. If your just a casual simcity I think the hiccups may outweigh the enjoyment of playing the game.

Graphics are much better too... It can give my 2 overclocked 7970s in crossfire a run for there money.
