Should replaced xenon headlight with two new modules be coded?

Hi,

I replaced the right headlight on 2014 Golf Variant Highline (got new ballast and DRL module as well) and now I noticed that when the parking lights are on the "U" shape has some dark spots in it. I haven't got to test the daytime running lights (which are brighter and controlled bit differently I suppose) when engine is on and it's clear day but I will tomorrow but so far the parking lights itself seem to have dark spots. So my question is that do I need to for example code the new DRL module (VCDS?) so the U shape will work properly and do I need to code the other modules as well and how exactly?

I got it solved, the new DRL module that I had was apparently intended for different type of headlight. After I cleaned the old module and installed it on the headlight, the DRL pattern looked normal. The new module part number ended with "H" and the old one ended with "G".
