Seal scratching the paint - rear doors

Hello, I would like to ask if anyone has similar issue with their Golf. This is 2017 7.5 GTI.

The rear door seal seems to be too hard/out of place and it's scratching the paint. Even though these doors are rarely opened, the paint has come off slightly. I think my local detailing shop will clean it up and paint it somehow, but is there any known solution to stop the seal from scratching? On the other side of the car it looks similar, maybe slightly better.

Any tips are appreciated.

Once the paint’s been repaired, fit a small section of clear PPF (paint protection film) in that area or get your detailer to do it.

I raised this at the dealer very early on ownership and they said b/c everything is in alignment, it’s normal. 🫠🫠🫠

This was present on my car when I bought it CPO. Wipe down the jambs thoroughly everytime you wash it, including the door. The rubber isn't causing the scratches; it's dirt/dust that works its way in, mixed with slight flex in the chassis, that's causing it. Clear bra will prevent further issues.
