SE alarmed or not

My SE doesn't appear to have an alarm fitted ?....least I can't find it.

Am I losing the plot

I can't find the software or a button to disable the interior sensors.....maybe I'm having a blonde moment

TBH I'd prefer not to have an alarm......they're nothing but hassle.

The button to disable the alarm interior monitoring is at the bottom of the post between front and rear doors. If you don't have an alarm fitted (for whatever reason) there is a serious insurance implication to that as your insurer will have set your premium on the basis that you have a car with a factroy fitted alarm. If you have really not got one you need to tell the insurance company immediately.

Whatta plonker....I do indeed have the button you speak of Mark5.....must investigate further.

Do you have a small LED light on top of the door panel near the drivers side mirror ? this should flash on and of when your car is locked also.
