Figured it's time for a thread on my car. I'd love to see more Sportwagens/Alltracks competing in Time Trial and help anyone getting into HPDE/TT

Mods:
ECS Tuning 25MM Rear Sway Bar (highly recommend, greatly reduced understeer, flickable oversteer on demand, low price)

Bilstein B8 shocks (highly recommend, firm but baby still sleeps in car. Does most of the work)

VWR Golf R Variant springs (not recommended, but limited options. Too soft for the drop, not predictable due to progressive nature)

Apex SM-10 Wheels. Bronze has Falken RT615s, Anthracite has Valino's new 200TW tires (verdict still out)

APR Stage 1 (so far I dislike it. Doesn't seem like it was made for the track; dangerous at VIR, possibly switching to Unitronic)

Hmm, does multi image work...?

Carolina Motorsports Park SCCA Time Trial was a blast. 2nd in Sport 4.

Unitronic tune was flawless. Not quite as fast as APR but not a 1 lap wonder. Reflect tune had issues as well.

So I've done JB4, IE, APR, Reflect and now Uni. Only have been satisfied with JB4 and Uni.

Looks great.

What issues did you run into with the APR and Reflect tunes

Violent boost cuts on APR around the 2nd lap of VIR. Reflect also had boost cuts, not quite as bad. But it was slower anyway.

Here it is at Daytona. Surprisingly no issues with 87-96 degree weather. Other than cracked rotors.

Got down to a 2.27.5 at NCM Motorsports Park with SCCA Time Trial. Plagued by heat issues. 1 qualifying lap is all it had.

Oil pressure switch is the code, although it magically happens at 275F oil temp every time.

Those oil temps seem kinda high, what do you have for cooling mods?

Run the heater, without AC on of course. Close middle vents. Point outer vents out. Should help a bit

I thought it would. For Golf it doesn't. It was on every session but the first. Still couldn't do much more than 1 lap before limp mode.

I'm finally getting a Uniconnect cable to flash down to 91 octane.
