And I still think the issues with plug tips breaking were mostly due to customers obsessively and/or not gently re-gapping their plugs, thinking it would solve other issues like knock.
This and I think some were fakes. I've never seen any logs directly before/after that show that KR is related to plugs alone. Maybe I'm nuts but it's almost always a fuel/tune issue. I mean the plug either fires or it doesn't. AT least for the normal tunes, I realize the big-turbo/power folks have a different situation where a tighter gap can prevent blow-out/clean spark on high-boost.

You should not be running 2 step colder plugs dailying. You'll just foul them up. Run something closer to stock and swap plugs to a colder one for track day if that gives you the warm fuzzies. Then they'll last longer and won't need swapped in a year.
Only looking at one step colder. Two steps is only recommended for big turbos. In the end I am going to try a set of the denso racing if they fowl quickly I may try the Ruths. Thanks all for the good discussion.

APR plugs here. 2x steps colder non-projected. Dailying with them for the last 2+ years. Don't see any evidence of fouling. I change them 1/year/10K miles which is overkill but whatever, FCP!

In case anyone is wondering what I'm up to this season...

Tried out Yokes, burnt through them very quickly, not enough camber, and one track-cross day pretty much ruined them.

35/127 ( top 27%) total PAX at the phx tour, 2nd place and .758 behind first in GST, not impressed with the yokes at this event.

Better than last year's finish of 57/138.

At the last local, disappointed in the car's performance in the sweepers at the tour, I tried full stiff on the front and rear bars, was skeptical, but pulled off 12/142 (top 8%) PAX spot, first cold/wet run group, two driver car with Stones, car felt good.
