Hello Guys
I have the week of the 16-20 off to head down to Alpine Vag fair, i want to avoid the I81 as much as possible after the DC/MD area and take as many mountain roads as possible as i will have 3-4 days to get down there. I was thinking of stopping in Hagerstown on my first night and then heading down to Waynesboro and onto the north entrance of the blue ridge parkway trying to get to Roanoke or a bit further on that day. Then from Roanoke ( ish) down to Bryson City.
Should i take the BRP all the way or are there other roads nearby that are worth the drive?
