Not at all. He just didn't try hard enough out of fear of breaking it.

It's just the usual metal trim clips used across the car. They do require some force.

update.

I made all the connections to have the lights in the doors in OEM mode.
I then connected to the BCM and sent the wiring to the 4 doors and to the passenger glove box.

the colleagues were these:

red wire: power supply under 10 amp fuse
black wire: ground
purple / white wire (in my case): to the LIN line of the BCM, that is pin 29 of the C connector

at this point I only need the coding to do with VCDS to activate the door lights.
I state that I already have the 30 colors working on mib and digital tacho.

does anyone know how to help me find the codes and adaptations to do with VCDS to activate the lights in the doors managed by MIB?

I did the mod but with OEM parts except for the light guides in the dash an rear doors, so I upgraded my BCM.
To be honest I don't have the time to really write a how to but I will try if the demand is high.

Unfortunately, however, despite the encodings of my BCM seem correct, the 5 lights (4 doors + glove compartment) did not work.

Did you use OEM LEDS or the Chinese ones? I don't know the addresses of the Chinese parts of course.
What you could try is to enable all slaves and watch what happens.
So,

yes i got a complete chinese kit.

consider that the cables and connectors are all OEM ... only the strips that light up are Chinese.

@Riddick20 not to Fuse 30 but to a fuse that's permanent switched.
They need 12V all the time, not only when the ignition is switched to ON. I added an extra fuse.
But let's assume for now that you did that correct. Can you try to enable the other slaves?
If they used the dashboard LED it's address 5, so u could try to code this as well:

It's the 10V fuse. But I had to wire it myself. There is already one terminal in the slot, you just need to add the other connector.
