Second mAjOr MoDiFiCaTiOn is done, swapping a rs4 style front upper grille and the badges over. Not much out there for lower rs4 style grilles so i might have to fab something up if i dont wanna spend 300 bucks.

Also, all the interior bulbs are now leds. Much better.

Doing brake pads and correct sized hubcentric rings for the wifes s4. A little different process conpared to my previous cars but not bad!

I think my Taos is faster than the DTR.

Wondering if anyone has tried to get a vortex xl with mpi and stock down pipe to pass ca smog and if they got flagged? Ed hints at it being able to pass because of readiness and it getting picked up as a Cobb tune but not sure I want to spend that money if not a sure shot. Waiting for Apr to get an eo number (in ca and at 50 don’t want to deal with issues if I am forced to pop my hood or having to swap parts every other year to pass smog)

Did some stuff today.

Replaced the lenses on the b8 headlights

Before and after, it looks worse than the pics somehow. The new lenses look great of course.

And made a hot air intake for 30 bucks vs a 500 dollar hot air intake with a HeAt sHiElD. Now you can just barely hear boosty noises.
