It is a CLOSE and tough call for now, but yeah its just gonna be for the better if I can swing it. The whole, paying for a nanny so she can work thing just blows. Adds so much stress for both of us. Esp once we have 2 kids it will make even more sense. Then once I slide them into the public school system she can go back to work full time.

And who knows maybe jsut maybe she will be open to a very part time side job or something to help out.

I started Baun Performance when we had kid #2, and the economy was fantastic in 2017 so it worked out without me having to work extra at my real job.

Kid #3 came this spring in the worst economy of my lifetime so I’ve worked about 3/4 my salary worth of OT at my real job since we found out he was coming & slowed way down on Baun Performance.

There’s always something you can do a little extra to keep the stress away (at least with a stay at home wife, so you’re available reliably to make said moves).

She’s been home since 2017, and especially now with three kids I couldn’t imagine doing it any other way.

+1 for wife SAHM. We now only go on one vacation a year and cut back in a few other places, but we're going to do it until at least the kids go to elementary school. They'll only be this young once.

2016, 80k miles. SE edition, adaptive HID headlights, black leather, 2.0 1st gen TSI, kessy, 4 Motion, pano sunroof, carplay/android, 18 wheels sums up the highlights. Seems to run and drive very well. Probably about as well equipped as you can get one of these and we got it for a steal.

And wow a stock 2 0t is a total dog lol!

2016, 80k miles. SE edition, adaptive HID headlights, black leather, 2.0 1st gen TSI, kessy, 4 Motion, pano sunroof, carplay/android, 18 wheels sums up the highlights. Seems to run and drive very well. Probably about as well equipped as you can get one of these and we got it for a steal.

And wow a stock 2 0t is a total dog lol!

its funny, its factory rated for like 30 more hp than the newer tig, and weighs some ~200 lbs less but i swear it is a DOG. But it is cool to have what i am pretty sure is the exact GTI engine and not a b cycle.

Unfortunately no DSG in this one though; sounds like some might have, having a hard time fact checking that. But its a very smooth long geared slush box - so gearing may have something to do with how doggy it is.

JB4 with a spicy map 6 should be potent on that car.

My A4 has the gen 2 EA888 which is closely related to that gen 1 (the JB4s are the same apart from 1 plug and the mapping), and with no additional hardware I got it to put down 250awhp on a Mustang dyno (~294 crank) from the stock 211bhp. Gen 1s seem to make slightly less power but either way it'll wake her up!
