Long time no update

Today fixed a small oil leak luckily it was just the intercooler outlet pipe connection small drip. Tightened some heat shields under the chassis that were rattling a bit.

Refreshed the caliper paint. Pics of before dont do it justice how faded and light pink they looked

Toothofwar sold me his flow one f5's, just waiting for the local shop to install tires on them!

Got some firestone firehawk 245/40/18 mounted on these +42 9" wide wheels. Once i claybarred and coated the wheels and dropped it i thought they were gonna rub like a lonely man on a friday night. The wheel edge pokes just a tickle. But, hit a couple local test bumps and so far so good! Loving the look. Glad the shitty austins can just be dedicated winter wheels now.

Man, also its been a while since i havent been driving on winter tires! The b5 and b8 were on winter tires too till i got rid of each. Holy shit do some good new 'PeRfOrMaNcE AlL sEaSoNs make a difference in cornering feel. Ride quality is much sharper

Did you dry fit the 255 indy 500? I think it was the same as the 245 a/s firehawks. They look good on there. Hope they serve you as well as they did me!

No i didnt but if i did i might have riceburnered the wheels before even trying them lol. So, glad i went the full route. Maybe itll rub with my wife in the backseat with the baby, we will see!

asking because i cannot, despite my best efforts, find a better condition set of seats anywhere near me, or at all affordable. cant deal with the scuffs and damage, etc.

so was gonna use an actual leather refinishing / redying product and then thought hey why not fuck around and find out if red inserts would look tits or not.
