snap back to reality (OPE - THERE GOES GRAVITY-)

had to make an order for some more good'er stuff:

thermostat with housing, since mine is stuck open (luckily open, but still not good)
coolant flush kit
oil change kit
spark plugs
OEM upper dogbone puck, and 034 Spherical dogbone, already have the HPA lower puck, to get ride of the perceived gear lash and slop. the BFI upper mounts alone arent cutting it.
Cam follower

Next up will likely be a set of injectors and HPFP upgrade kit... to recap, when i got tuned, the car was running ~90-100% injector duty cycle, while both running very rich but also pulling ~7-10 degrees of timing. and it wasn't clear why. Though the stuck thermostat may be a sign, as we were tuning in the winter, and the car was never really up to operating temp, i still fear old injectors may be the culprit, and the HPFP not supplying the demand. All said, would love to know how to log this stuff to not just throw $ at it.

Having some fun today.

Redid the connection at the cold side pipe due to some minor oil seepage.

Installed an 034 pendulum mount becayse of gear lash. Might be actual gear lash becayse the oem arm felt fine. Ill wait to drop the subframe again to install the oem upper puck. Lower puck is a solid one already. Regardless hoping this pendulum helps somehow or another.

Doing oil change now. Cam follower only has minor wear but that warrants replacing!

Good to know if that pendulum am helps gear lash out or it just destroys your transmission casing.

I have BFI state 1 mounts and still have gear lash.

Nah, but upon doing a compression test where all cylinders were right at the 155ish psi range, the cyl 4 spark plug was nasty and rusty. Only 5k since the last round!
Im either trying to cough it up to washing the engine down from time to time or maybe blowby. Either way, gapped new ngk bkr7eix plugs to .026 and sent them home with a proper torque wrench to 22 ft lbs.
Drove a good 10 miles logging for misfires and it was good.

The cyl 4 coil prior to giving it a quick steel wool treatment. Others had a bit of this too but not as bad
