May have found a buyer for my b5, but will wait with baited breath. Regardless i got zimmerzhong brake rotors. and trw ceramic pads for it, as well as coolant and oil sensors to address my lack of gauge functionalities. Fix at least a few issues, may take another stab at fixing the upper seat fabric.

Also, while noone seems to be buying the b8, instead of fixing any of its numerous issues i decided to make it look faster by gloss black painting all of the chrome and brushed trim to emulate the 'black optics' package.

Hey it may be leaking coolant (or something) and be one money shift away from blowing the mechatronic unit, but atleast it looks good.

Regardless, my cars only seem to sell right after i sink some money into them.

Leaking some coolant it seems
Passenger door actuator doesnt work
Lane assist lights dont work
Needs a lot of suspension work
Body isnt that great i think it used to be a city car
169k miles so just lots of other little things in general it is likely due for

In general my wife just wants a new car with better bells and whistles that doesnt chug 93 octane, something easier to drive. Im still leaning toward an 17+ a3 quattro or a q5

The last one i had was great but i bought it right from the first owner who was rich and really took excellent care of it. It has 100k-ish miles when i bought it. Shouldnt have sold it but it helped me get a house

It's only fair then that the house returns the favor and helps you get a car. Sell it and buy a nice blue MK6R!
