At my local hispanic muffler shop getting a piece of 3" welded in place of the resonator now. $80 not half bad!

2008 335i. Was never into them
Mk4 jettas and gtis. Yeah i think i would be dissappointed. A mk4 jetta vr6 might just tickle my fancy some though.
Today a modded 2012ish tiguan. Looked cool but auto and tiguan.
And no offers over 10k.

Idk guys. Might just have to keep her... unless that golf r thing happens to work out which i am doubtful of.

All said i do still very much like this b5. Just gotta put some work into her. Gotta dye the seat upper again, get the codes sorted out and make it a real stage 3 car, needs brakes, a new center diff mount, and its pretty much good to go. Keep my eye out for some bbs CH wheels

MK4 VR only makes sense if 12v - and those are getting up there in age.

I'd just put in some nice aftermarket seats in the B5, instead of doing the just for men thing.

I don't envy you, trying to sort out codes on a 20 year old highly modified Audi...

Meh, its both more easy and more complicated haha. The good news is, the ECU apparently doesnt mind simply having some things removed from its purview. So there goes the rear 02 sensor codes. The MAF sensor isnt getting much/any coltage, sounds like its a matter of swapping to a newer MAF housing and sensor, modify the plug and tell the ECU what it needs.

Hoping all in all it wont be too bad. Either way if i wind up with a ~450 whp car this will be a fucking awesome ride.
