“what is a big deal is the diffuser however and renn's lack of concern of how it fits. he acknowledged the fitment wasnt great on his test car...”
Look I haven’t chimed in much on all of this because I believe everyone should have a voice and be able to freely express their opinions. However, your statement copied above is blatantly not true.

In my immediate response to your post I attached pictures of the diffuser installed on our test vehicle. These pictures are not doctored in any way with intent to mislead anyone on fitment. This is how it literally looks on the car and the follow up post I made with the video proves it. I would not, and have not described the fitment on our test car as “not great”. Personally I’m quite pleased with it. That said, there is always room for improvement, which brings me to my next point.

I have a hard time understanding your argument that I have a “lack of concern” regarding the fitment of your diffuser. I have attached a screenshot of my last email to you (which was sent a day prior to this thread being started). In it, I state that I am taking your input very seriously and that we will be making changes.

I genuinely would like to give you a refund in return for the diffuser as I want to inspect it for myself in order to identify any quality problems. But that offer was refused in your next email response. Until the return offer is accepted, I am not sure what can be done to satisfy you.

i say the "lack of concern" because you sent me a picture of an ill fitting part on your test car and i'm not trying to put words in your mouth but you did tell me you have had issues with the fitment and there were work arounds. you suggested me to loosen the bolt securing it to my car out almost completly to have the angle correct or i should try to bend the bracket on my car. what you didnt say was "oh shit, i fucked up and tried to sell something that wasnt finished yet, sorry". i have the e-mails that i can screen shot also. the test car you showed me was something that i would describe as ill fitting due to the thing not touching the bumper and not being properly secured to the vehicle and i am able to see the factory bumper in the gap at the top. look i will not be sending it back as now i have two holes drilled into my bumper, i dont want to incure cost to ship this thing back to you and i dont want the hassle of shipping huge boxed in the middle of a pandemic. all i'm asking you to do is fix your product so the future customers arent dissapointed like i am. im still in favor of you as a seller and you have been nothing but politle and agreeable, i just think this has missed the mark on what could be a fantastic product both in the finish of the spoiler and the fitment of the diffuser.

Your name is actually Renn?!?! That's a dope name! Any story behind that? Some lore maybe?

Sorry for the terrible resolution, but here are two shots of mine.

These wheels look so good they’re hurting my feelings. That’s called ‘black chrome’ powder coat?

Yeah, it's a mid coat that's usually sprayed over black for a darker finish or silver for a lighter finish. Mine were a black base, but I think the first one I posted might have a silver base.

They're very light dependent. They look much lighter in direct sun but nearly black at night. They were also a near perfect match for Porterfield brake dust.

Lol yep! No real story behind it, parents just decided they liked it. Turned out to be German for "Race" and so it was an easy pick for Rennwagen (German for Racecar).

I'm not saying I don't believe you. Because I do.

But "Renn Lauderdale" sounds like a made up name. Either an 80's Porn Star or the main character in a cheap B tier action movie.

My diffuser has gaps. I’m going to try adjusting this weekend based on the updated instructions. I think there’s only so much that can be done without using double sided taped or drilling the back part and using a bolt to get it flush.

I'm just disappointed with the quality and trying to gauge if my expectations are too high here. I bought these without seeing and actual picture and just updating their.posts with my actual pictures close up. How is this spam?

Did you reach out to him before posting here? Posting about a product issue on a public forum should be the last resort when and only when all other means have been exhausted, hence they saying you attract more bees with honey than you do vinegar. Just my opinion.

The only thing I'm gonna publicly shame the vendor for is not making one for the Sportwagen!

Correct. The Strafe diffuser is the same in that the top is open. If you want to toss some more screws through your stock valance, or futz with double sided tape, you can secure it tight up top but it's not going to be flapping around as you drive. You press or pull on most body panels / parts and they move or flex.

My rear spoiler extension has been on for almost 3 months and it's been great. Fitment is spot on and the whole orange peel thing is being overblown. Yes, mine has an orange peel look to it but you never see it. In most lighting, at most angles, from pretty much any distance it looks like a gloss black spoiler. As someone else said, if you want to stick your face right up to it and look around then yes, you'll see it. I've had several friends and strangers compliment the car and no one has noticed or cared enough to say anything. And I sure as hell never notice.
