Removing Tuning Box Before Service?

I had a DTUK box fitted yesterday; all good.

I am due a 10,000 mile service with an oil change in about 4,000 miles which if I carry on my current mileage will probably be May sometime.

I understand that it's a good idea to remove it if I have an issue so I can try to get it sorted under warranty; but it is necessary for a service?

Will they even notice? Or care? Anyone have any experience of this?

Yes they will notice and if they see it they will note it and your engine warranty at least will be voided. It is only three plugs and a few screws on the under-tray to remove it so for the sake of keeping your warranty intact remove it.

I would take it out just to be safe.

it takes 5 mins so for sake of any issue just unplug it . and once you're home drop it backon
