Enjoy!

PS: I went back to IS38 two weeks ago to get that 10sec pass this Fall and also went back to my APR/JB4 stacked setup because Eurodyne/Maestro ran like complete and utter sh!t.

Nice job! That's movin

What track?

Tires & fuel?
Thanks! Cecil and/or Atco. Pump 93 octane with 50-60% ethanol blend (I run a larger fuel pump) and a little water/meth injection. M&H Racemasters.

Would 15 or 16 not fit for drag tires?
My car is a daily driver and I do some track days with it too, so I have a 355mm Stoptech BBK up front that I won't part with. I actually had to get custom 17" wheels made to clear them too lol.

Nice. How much boost are you running to redline if you don't mind me asking?

Nice runs!
RJ can you elaborate the issues you were having with maestro/eurodyne? Just curious to know.

I run 29-30psi at peak tapering down to ~22psi by 6200rpms with 16* of timing. Nothing too crazy, but it's dialed in very well and makes stupid power right now.

My car was running like crap, hard starts and idled like crap... even on the base map. AF was all over the place and the car was breaking up bad past 6k. I went back to the APR tune last week and it runs flawlessly again, as strong as ever without changing anything else. I went back to my old tired but trusty IS38 again and then going for that 10sec stock turbo pass now that boost season is right around the corner ??. I would switch back to Maestro if they get the correct adjustments and fix the box code programming issues as it should have more power potential when they get everything worked out... but right now it's abosolute garbage and I would advise anyone to steer clear.

Chris is almost 100% unresponsive to my emails too BTW. I basically just have an $826 data logging cable, and a crappy one that takes slow data samples at that. I guess if you had never had a well developed tune you wouldn't know what you are missing, but the driveability and tuneability of that system is just horrible. Join the FB group if you want to see at the details, but everybody is having the same problems, even the big Maestro tuners.

Sucks that you ran into those issues with it. There was an update last week to Maestro that was supposed to fix the A/F maps and add adjustability or something like that

I have a $500 data logging cable that does not work as well. Chris "attempted" to fix my DSG tune and it was just bad. He blamed it on COBB ECU not sending the right parameters for his TCU tune to read etc etc. DSG was slipping.....in the end I went APR TCU and all is good. Also to top things up he had one more file for me to test and his powertap tool went brick. He said if I send it back (me paying shipping) he will fix it and send me it back or a new one........I told him forget it and basically I guess I donated 500 to eurodyne for shit. When somehow APR can work fine with COBB ECU. Customer service was also crap when I asked for refund/discount as his shit did not work.

That's solid. The meth seems to really help in getting the timing up with the stock ecu logic.

They don't fully work either yet, and there are dozens of issues within Eurodyne tunes and software loading programs too that you rarely see discussed publicly. I of course didn't realize this until I had the software and was "in the circle", but the entire community is having major issues and even the base tunes are written completely wrong. Sucks because I had a lot of hope for it too. I highly encourage anyone with Eurodyne or Maestro to join the MK7/MQB ED Maestro Facebook group to see some transparency without people people just blowing smoke like you see on some public forums.

What turbo are you running if you took the IS38 off?
I was running a Littco L5252 for about a month and a half, but I took that off and sold it last week and am back to the IS38 now.

Yup, well that and the 50-60% Ethanol content I run, along with all the other fine tuning and mods too. A ton of trial and error work TBH, this is years on the making lol.

Jeeze that sucks man, I'm sorry to hear that. I can really relate to you here unfortunately. Nothing but problems and he user is still the guinea pig for his software almost 3 years into tuning this platform ugh.
