Can anyone clarify on what resistor is needed specifically for the airbag plug or if anyone has a link to one that works on the GTI?
I see a few posts mention different values they used but not sure which is correct one.
I have a plug that I cut off from a donor seat just need to figure out which wires need to have resistor put on them

What I've got for my install, @StorableComa is a good dude and helped immensely with getting me what I needed for my seat install.

I saw that site has the premade stuff, but I am just looking to find the correct resistors needed as I already have the plug.

The guy that helped you is that his insta or on here?
I'm here. 3.7 ohm is what you'll need. Along with the seat position sensor for driver on NAR vehicles. Passenger requires the airbag control module moved over, replacement harness and occupancy sensor In addition.

I bout donor cloth seats and stripped the harness from there for driver and passenger side with the seat module. Trying to get things installed later this week for testing. Are the seating pads from the cloth vs leather seats are that much different?

I saw that before someone posted needing 2.2 and others 3.3 wondering why such a huge difference? Also, if I already have a plug that I cut off from a donor airbag, is soldering to the wires would change value of the resistor or would it be negligible ?

I wonder if the 3.7ohm is my problem. I confirmed 3.3ohm is what I used. Everything else is exactly followed. Still have the damn light when the passenger seat is empty.
