I did a search in the forum and did not find anything about this recall notice. I may have missed it but here it is just in case:
VW recalling certain 2015 VW Golf and GTI (US MK7) models:

A follow-up recall notice for another 45,000 vehicles including certain 2015 VW Golf and GTI models (US MK7):

So far, I have not read anything about VW Canada issuing the same recall notice. However, I recommend Canadian Owners check in with VW Canada or their local dealer concerning this potentially life-threatening issue.
