Radio turns itself off

Has anyone had an issue where the radio in their Golf R will randomly turn off? This has happened to me maybe 3 times in about 1500 miles but it's very odd. The only time it occurs is within the first few minutes of driving.

That's better then the car stalling.

Not an R but I've noticed it happen with my GTD.

Only noticed it when connected to Android auto though. Not sure if it's AA causing the entire system to reboot or if the Radio itself it's rebooting.

Haven't really had time to look into it though or Google it.

A few times I've had the unit suddenly reset, but not recently.

Forgot the latest version but I had to get the firmware upgraded.
