So just received some parts from racingline. I purchased the high flow turbo inlet, the turbo muffler delete, and the catch tank and oil management kit. All are being installed on Friday with the help of my buddies over at Country Dubs. I'll report back what I see and feel.
Okay so everything is in. First impressions are every part that I received the fit and finish was absolutely outstanding. Everything fit just as oem should. Makes putting in racingline parts very easy. Total install time was around 3 hours total and mostly because we were taking our time and taking pictures as we went.
The muffler delete and the high flow turbo inlet went in just like factory. Nothing really to add other than beautifully finished and quality parts to perfect oem spec.
Catch can
Lots of folks had questions about how this works and how it fits on the m7r and s3. The short and sweet is the windshield washer container is two pieces. Remove the top bolt and pull up and it comes right out. Makes sure you drain the top section down. I'll include pictures. Racingline had provided a metal vented plug to place in the top of the washer container, which I also took pictures of. The catch can bolts to the motor mount and also where the washer bottle was originally. The only thing I changed was the routing of the catch can lines as it seemed better for me the way I ran them vs the directions provided.
My first impressions on the 90 turbo inlet and the muffler delete are you hear a little more from the turbo now which is subtle but nice. Turbo seems to breath a little better and spools a little more quickly and smoothly. All in all i am super happy with the way it all installed.
