Question regarding the screen size MY15 R

Hi, Anyone with a MY15 R wanted to clarify if you have an SE (base) model does it come with a 5" screen or a 5.8" screen.

Based on google other than the screen size the only other difference is the intuitive touch, can someone verify this pls.

As far as I remember, we get the 5.8" Radio Composition Media on all specs of the GTI and R in the UAE, unless NAV is specced (which is 8" Discover Pro).

The 5" that you are referring to is standard on the regular golf in the UAE, in two forms:
- Composition touch
- Composition Colour

Both of these depend on which Spec your car would be.

I got the Base spec R and it came with a 5.8" screen with proximity sensor, i didn't specify anything it came standard.

Thanks guys, my sales guy was confused he said he mixed it up with 2014 which had 5" as standard. And peace of mind is back.....
