If I were to replace my shocks back to Sach or perhaps with Bilstein B8, will the wheel gap reduced compared to having B4? I think the rear gap is already perfect. Just to want to reduce the front wheel gap.
I think it would probably look the same tbh.

Hey everyone, I recently put DG springs on my 2016 TSI Highline 5MT. With the car having over 200k km on it, I replaced everything along the way. Shocks/struts, mounts, bearings, and most bolts. I admit, I didn't go with OEM stuff though. The shocks/struts and mounts are KYB. Not sure if that has something to do with what I'm experiencing. I just went through this whole thread and have a couple questions.

Does anybody else feel like the rear is much stiffer than the front? Before the springs, the front and rear felt similar to me. Now, the rear is noticeably stiffer than the front. It's noticeable and both low and high speeds. Going over a speed bump feels like stock when the front goes over, then quite jarring when the rear goes over. I didn't use the TT rear pads for my install, but that's where my second question comes in.

For the MT people, how noticeable is your reverse rake? After going through the thread, I feel like the front and rear of my car are more out of whack than others. Even other TSI cars. It seems like there's less of a difference for the GTI between DSG and 6MT because the 6MT is still heavier than the 5MT. I'm most likely going to put TT pads in the rear once the weather warms up a bit where I am, but I'm curious what other people think.

The first pictures are ones I just took in my garage. It might be hard to tell here. My winters are 17x7.5 et45 205/50/17. I have about 7000 km on the springs at this point. The parking lot pic is about one week after install, and the other is 3 months after install. Summers are 18x7.5 et51 225/40/18, 10mm spacer front and 15mm spacer rear.

Thanks!
