Sup everyone!
After years of wanting a GTI, finally jumped the gun and bought the MK7.5. Last 2019 on the lot with the peoples warranty. Glad to be part of the community now.
This is my Dark Iron Blue GTI SE with experience package.
Lots of plans with the car after i break it in a bit. Currently tinted windows to 10% all around, smoke tint headlights (mainly for headlight preservation) reverse lights smoked, bunch of OBDeleven changes such as fogs with drl, lock car with fob even if engine is on, dancing turn signals, and bit more things.
But will be doing ton of exciting things come next year like coilovers, exhaust, engine mods and more!

I love the red on the splitter 😍 I see it’s aerofabb, how did you get the red on there?
Welcome to the forum. I joined back in April and have loved spending hours seeing what others are doing to their cars. That red is just red vinyl tape from AutoZone, O'Reily's etc. I put it on myself in about two minutes. It definitely creates a very distinct look and I get a lot of positive comments about it.

Hello everyone. 2020 MK 7.5 S in manual with these mods:
  • Enkei Raijin (18x8.5, +42 offset) with black center caps, same tires as stock. I'll be doing 235s once I've worn these out.
  • Eibach Pro Kit springs
  • Lasfit LED lowbeams
  • WCT Performance pedal spacer
  • Missle launch button
Window tints and a partial front Clear Bra are next. I'd love to change the shift knob to something bigger (weighted or not), but I'm not keen on having to pry off any panels or cutting the boot. I'd also would love to add an extension to the throttle pedal for easier heel/toe, but the only one I can find requires drilling. The stock pedal covers are slip-ons so it should make sense that someone would make a slip on with a lip at the bottom left corner of the pedal.

I see you know about Modesta products. Can definitely tell with your car, has that nice mirror shine to it. If you don't mind telling, how much did it cost to get your car coated with it?

BC04 ran around 1500 and another 1000 for BC06 on top of that. People think I'm crazy for spending that kinda cash on a ceramic coating but Modesta is on another. It's a great product for sure

It definitely is and I have yet to see another product that comes close to it's shine, let alone last as long as Modesta does. Where did you get it done at? I know you are in Maryland but in Virginia, the only place that I know of that has the stuff is at Automotive Aesthetic in Charlottesville.

I got it installed at TLC Auto Detail in Virginia. The owner of Modesta North America works there and actually was the one to apply the coating to my car. (y)

First post. New 2021 VW GTI S, 6-speed MT. Back to GTI's after a long time away from my 1988 GTI 16V Mk3, Took some pictures after its first wash and a little Wolfgang sealant. Already going to school with the knowledge base here, and putting together my priorities and wish list. Excited to be here, and will be posting as the mods, observations, feedback, etc. start piling up.
