Possible turbo? issues 1.4 122bhp.

Hi folks,

So my 2013 Golf has the 1.4TSI (122) which has been causing me some issues. I know there's a problem with the turbos on these particular engines, but what I can't get my head around is how the issue manifests itself in my car.
When I start the engine from cold the engine lights show up on the dash, and the engine's performance is restricted somewhat. But once it's warmed up I can turn the engine off and restart it and get full performance. If the turbo actuator is jammed, then surely it should always be so, so why do I get the full performance? It appears to be more of a software issue than a mechanical one.

The pivot between the actuator arm & wastegate arm seizes..this puts pressure on the actuator which then fails....also you may hear owl/pigeon call noises when you start the car up or press the accelerator at low revs..as the wastegate is partially open because its seizes....these usually happens at cold...I did a guide , (see my signature below) for the 140PS version..
