After 2 months waiting for dlink dub e100
It is not enable 192.168.1.4 telnet access, it doesnt even show any ports available. I bought the unit from a donor car, it came unlocked vw dealer removed the cp and it was locked because of their restore. Now I need to fec activate it.

I can make all activations in MIB 1/2 remotely. I have full solutions for Harman, Delphi and Technisat/Prech.

I have big collection of telnet passwords I can share if someone need it

More details on PM

Can anyone help me with this?
I had a Delphi 3Q0035874A unit, that failed to boot when fitted, and it was replaced with a Technisat 3Q0035874A unit, but now there is no maps, or Bluetooth function. The guy that fitted the unit done all he could to enable the unit be working.
Does the Technisat unit have the software enabled for these functions?
I only ask as the Delphi unit has the bluetooth symbol on the label, but the Technisat does not.

From one IT guy to another, thanks for not being a dick and keeping everything to yourself.
From a 3rd IT guy to another two, I have two colleagues like this and could wax lyrical about how petty it can be.. 🙄

Reading this is making me wonder if I can manage it though, my new unit arrives tomorrow!

If it's a Delphi unit I may be able to help.

Hi all, I just joined the forum cause of this topic. I'm also an IT guy but I dont feel confident to enable the Sport Monitor (FEC 60400) on a Delphi MIB2 STD. I wouldnt mind test all this if a had a test unit, but I only have the one working on my car and dont want to brick it.

So, a few questions...

1- Does anyone know if there is a way to create some kind of VM to emulate the unit on a PC and run the test there? and by a test I mean just check the right menus availabled, I dont espect things to be working, of course many missing dependencys.

2- If someone here can enable FEC 60400 remotly I would love to, and learn on the process too.

Cheers.

Mauro.

Re: #1 It runs on QNX which is Developed by Blackberry. You can apply for an Educational License if you want to mock around in the system itself but it's quite simple and you only need standard mount/cp/mv/rm commands to achieve what needs to be done to patch a Delphi.

Re: #2. You can try adding the FEC using OBDeleven and see if it accepts it.
http://wiki.mr-fix.info/index.php?title=MIB2#FEC_.2F_SWaP_Codes

Code you will need (Just make sure you enter your VIN and VCRN in to the code):
11020006040003A8436BB7C5424C41434B4D4F42494C455F504C324B32005B0D0FBC0000000000000000003B0FC769BFFF15ECD445B8196D2203D6D56BD8F22748B37D68F863DAC57E23C90A5FEEF0C06394C8D48A2EAA4F0FB658557400E66441DDC7D5AC3610AA4D45056C0C6E17C7E4B60C40E52FFA891938AF186ED20AE83A99EB10F3088479E6CBD2770C1563B5AE235B440BEF16EBE696576E108F2F9F897D963DEFBAD3ABDF2FFE

If it won't accept the code and says Invalid or Denied then you may need to patch SWaP file which is quite easy once you have shell access thru a D-link adapter to the unit.

Thanks Frankie, you gave me some work to do on the weekend hahaha. I already have vagcom with vcds, I will try that instead of OBDeleven first.

Then, going a bit deeper, my idea about to have a look in the system itself was beacuse if Sport Monitor can retrieve turbo boost, and it should be from the ECU I assume. This means that there is a connection to read ECU values, so... can this we tweak to read other ECU values?? I mean... once you are in, can you read O2 sensor, timing, temps...??

Those Sport monitors are not very good in terms of decent refresh rate. You are better off going with COBB or other OBD II diag/ tuning tool in my opinion.
Update: There is something I came across on Telegram group which mentions some serious advances utilizing the Harman MIB2 unit. Look up on google "MIB2 More Incredible Bash".
More info here: https://www.digital-eliteboard.com/...i2-q-vim-ifs-root-patcher-gem-enabler.494886/
Toolbox can be downloaded here: https://bit.ly/38wZToK

I think those guys devoted so much time to the Harman unit that it's worth investigating.
