I also noticed this, but I'm planning to mitigate it with more aggressive rear pads instead of ODB11. I have pretty aggressive front pads and still OEM with the rear. My car doesn't weight transfer as much on coils, so I think I can get away with more rear pad
I had these on my car for about 3mo with R4-S pads. They were great, except it shifted the total brake balance too far forward (even with more aggressive rear pads too. They never faded, but I was cooking rotors pretty bad which was affecting tire temps
@bfury5@Sc629 Can you confirm which brake pad shim we need? Is it the Bar style or do I need the circular style for each piston?
Also if Anyone is interested in which speed bleeder fits these calipers, its SB1010S. This is the same as the MK7s use for the rear, just remember you'll need x8 total.
I believe stock Yellow are the S ceramic brake calipers. Unless they were painted. Kinda a pain when looking through salvage yards, a log of base Boxsters have red calipers, so it's hard to tell if they painted or swapped to S calipers.
I’m in the process of rebuilding my calipers and ordering all the necessary parts and had a question regarding the banjo bolts. I have SS brake lines currently and they came with banjo bolts for the stock calipers, will these work on the brembos or is the Apikol banjo required? I see it says to reuse stock lines but just wanted to confirm. Thanks!

I believe the threads on the banjo bolt are different between the stock caliper and the brembo caliper (M10x1.0 vs M10x1.5) - I ordered the ones from Apikol and didn't have issues. As long as you have the right bolt, stock lines can be re-used.

Update to this:
Apikol was out of stock in their banjo bolts after I had already placed my order but they provided me with the size and I used this as an alternative.
Worked great and even though it will never be seen looks great too haha.
Another question I have is in regards to the brake pedal feel. For those who’ve done the swap where is the engagement point of the pedal for you? I’ve bled it multiple times and the pedal seems to be engaging about 5/8 of the way down which is a lot lower than expected. The bite is amazing once it’s there, especially paired with the ferrodo pads, but I can’t shake the feeling the engagement should be higher up. I believe there’s an air pocket somewhere in the system but can’t seem to get it out even with a power bleeder at 30psi.
