I replaced my OEM IE filter with one from AEM for this exact reason... After about 10k miles, there's decently less crap in the pipe and the inlet.

How old is the cone filter? Their filtration rate goes to hell quickly.

Maybe 3-4 months .... Looks perfect .... But I'm pretty sure it must be a the weak link as I can't find anywhere else it could be coming through.
