funny you mentioned this. my dealer said i should start using fuel additive every now and then to help prevent carbon build up lol
That only helps keep the injectors clean.

True, but wouldn't that leave the cylinders furthest from the MAP sensor opening the least cleaned? Or is this with the engine running?You can do chemical cleaning by spraying into the MAP sensor port. It isn't as effective as walnut blasting or manual cleaning. Just need to do it far more often.
