Please help Mobile wont connect

Morning All (well for those in the dull wet UK) Hello everyone else

I had no issues connecting my phone and others to my car over the last 18 months of ownership. I recently damaged my phone an S7 edge so the insurers sent me a replacement handset. I can not get the car to find the phone at all i've ensure my phone is set to visible as is the car both have Bluetooth switched on, i carry out the find but it completes the search with nothing found. The only difference on this handset i can see is that its running the latest android but i cant understand why this would affect the Bluetooth.

What with the new fine and six points i'd like it to work

the only thing i haven't tried is scanning using the phone and not the car so i'll try that this morning when i can escape work for 5 mins

stupid moment over, scanned using my phone (once i had worked out how to on android 7.0) all sorted thread can be closed.

Sometimes you have to ask before you find your answer! Glad you got it sorted.

strange that i couldnt use the can to find my phone it has to be the phone that finds the car both have search functions for a reason?
