Please help, loads of fault codes with flashing glow plug light

Hi, I’m hoping for some help regarding quite a few fault codes. ACC, stop start is unavailable and also a flashing orange glow plug light on the dashboard although the car doesn’t seem to be in limp mode.

Please see the list of codes below and hopefully some of you can shed some light on it all.

Have you just done any maintenance? Lots of "data bus missing message faults" which means a module X is not able to communicate with some other module(s).

Could be from a low battery, causing some batteries not to power up fully and therefore not communicate with other modules. Could also happen if you disconnect something with ignition on. Although in that case I wouldn't expect to see so many missing message faults.

With the number of faults you have I might suspect an issue with the gateway. Have you recently done any work on the car? And if you clear all of these faults, do they all come back?

Hi mate, I think I’ve narrowed it down to the radar sensor. If I disconnect it and then turn on the car I don’t get the flashing glow plug symbol and don’t get many of the fault codes. I’m thinking after some research that the radar has been swapped out at some point and was never coded back in nor did it have the component protection removed?

I think you're on the right track. All of your modules that show faults would expect to communicate with the front radar. And cruise control faults (in module 01- Engine) cause the glow plug light on TDIs.

Ah thanks for letting me know that. I think I will have to find a local specialist that can code in the radar then and hope it’s not a dead unit.
