Made a trip to my boy @[][][]'s garage. Last session there till he moves to the new place. We took care of the transmission insert that has been outstanding since like September or whenever when we did the engine mount and dogbone and torque arm.

We also 2x4'd the passenger front to put in a new strut mount. ~Something~ was squeaking intermittently, in rather specific circumstances: temps above 55 degrees and/or after the car had been driven for over 45 mins. Rather than figure out the problem we took it all apart and put it back together.

At the same time, I went and greased the front sway bar endlinks. Moog recommends servicing them every oil change. Not sure if that's tuned oil changes or get it through warranty period oil changes but I was due. Pushed out some dark stuff and replaced with fresh raspberry jam.

I've had a bit of vibration at speed, and we took off the wheels and inspected for damage and rotated them. There was quite a bit of metal crap stuck in the treads, but nothing imbedded. We rotated them and the vibrations persisted, if not increased. After about 65 miles the tpms alerted for driver side rear. I checked pressures and everything was consistent, so my conclusion is that there's some uneven tire wear going on. I dug the tread depth measure out last night and I'll have a check later today. Kind of unexpected because I thought I had gotten an alignment after I last messed with the suspension. But it's completely possible we did the LCA's and I forgot about checking the alignment.

The windshield is still cracked to shit but the crack made its way to the edge and stopped, so I'll probably put the safelite appointment off till June or something.

In other news, @Treadup's BAUN cat back arrived last night! I'm very psyched as I needed a new exhaust like, last year. Unfortunately I missed the window to get into [][][]'s garage so I'm trying to decide if I can be patient for over a month and a half or if I want to pay somebody to install it.

Catback? Homie that looks like the whole turboback, I was gonna say catback you could do on the street with some ramps but yeah the downpipe can be a turd. Sounds like you got a lot done though 👍

Ah yeah, in the pic I also lined up the downpipe and midpipe. Bought it off a rando who wandered into the forums and posted go the wrong section, been putting that install off until I got a resonator in at bare minimum 😅

Smart, the resonator makes all the difference in sound IMO.

Nope, no electrical doodads here 😅

I'd love a wavetrack though 😌

Ok. Without the performance pack, getting the downpipe out on ramps/jack stands isn't that bad. Have oodles of room back there.
