Stupid quesiton, been out of the mk7 for several years. Is the fender sub a plugin play for non fender equipped cars?

That's a great question and unfortunately it is not plug and play. Theres other needed hardware that goes with it. I'll do some research and post it here for anyone who wants to attempt upgrading. The sub as-is, is better suited as a direct replacement for someone who has the system already.

EDIT: Upon a little research, you would need the complete Fender Harness, Amp, and Sub. Its fairly time consuming, people generally go aftermarket (Helix) as it is less time consuming and can be a cheaper alternative.
