Hi guys can stone explains this. I went to get my car moped and detailed today as my guy was looking around the car he noticed this paint defects on my drivers side door sill/door shut.he said this might just a bit of crap under the paint. What you guys think? I've read about zinc blister and all sorts I don't no what to make of it, I don't really want him to go over it with da polisher untill I know what it is. Thanks in advance

Do you wash your car with a wire brush and dry it off with a sandblaster? That "defect" in the paint is the least of your worries.

Would it be wrong to suggest washing it with a sponge rather than just mopping it?

I thought so at first too but then read that it's the door sill so it's probably just from shoes dragging across it. Mine probably doesn't look great either.

As far as the defect goes...no idea, sorry.

Lol. I can assure you it does not look that bad to naked eye. It doesn't look perfect either that's pic is zoomed in with a flash light. I've only had the car a month and I know how to wash it to minimize swirls and scrathes. Even tho it will always end up looking like that eventually. That's why I was getting it moped and detailed so I can start fresh with it, I new it would be a hard job with washing etc on a black car.but I fancied a change from tungsten silver. What concerns me is the paint defect. I'll post another pic from further away the imperfections are very small.

Being that it is on the door sill, I would leave it alone. Its not something that is constantly an eye sore and it'll be more of a headache to get it repaired.
