Hi!

I've been thinking about those rims in 7x16, 5x112 ET48. Original rims in 16 are 6,5'' wide. Is this half an inch big difference? And what about suspension-should I be worried because they are not originals? Tyre would probably be 205/55R16. I've been thinking also about 17 inch, but roads here are too bad for them in my opinion.

Also big question. Matt black or crystal titanium? My car is white.

I'm highly interested on this thread. I also expecting the delivery of a pure white Mk7 and considering the Ultraleggera.

16" is the most conservative set up I've ever heard of it will probably be difficult to find someone running this I think you should be safe with 17" because stock GTI wheels are
18x7.5 et 51 all around and Volkswagen must have done a ton of research to make sure this would be ok for to use as a daily driver.

I run 19x8 et 50 lowered on H&R Sports with 15mm spacers in the back and 11mm in the front and where I live the roads truly are not the best but I can still get by.

Did you get a wheel alignment after installing the springs and spacers? Was there plenty of adjustment in the stock hardware??
