Osram MK7 headlight housings - interested?

I’ve seen some being sold on eBay from a seller in Germany also, wonder if that shipping would be any quicker? Or maybe it’s just the same since it needs to go through customs...

That being said, I got an email saying mine have shipped. So looks like I may have been in the "first batch"

Didn’t see that. I just got an email that mine shipped too, excited to see these in person! Sounds like it will be a week or so.

Depends, if they sent them slow boat they can take a bit. Still waiting on mine, shipped on the 10/2.

No, ordered the MK7 Xenon replacements. Doing a modified Halogen to Osram retrofit to make use of auto leveling. Akin to what Zero815 did with his LP GTI.

Nope, still in Frankfurt since 10/24. Im hoping it means theyre on a boat and just havent been scanned in the US yet.

Mine came slow boat. Getting them shipped air would have been an additional 200 bucks.

I tried to buy some other items from Germany recently and the seller flat out refused to sell to U.S. due to COVID. Apparently there are major shipping delays from Germany and the U.S.. With that said, due to the quality of Ed's lights, I really want a set of these. But the timing is terrible...

Same here. I emailed them this morning, waiting for a reply. Hoping to at least get told if theyre on a boat or not.

A few months ago I wanted 5 weeks on my package to move from Frankfurt, and then another 4 weeks +3 days once it entered the states to get to my door. This was with DHL in Germany and handed off to USPS in the states.

International packages are as slow as molasses right now.

I went DHL when I ordered. This was pre-covid but I wanted to avoid customs delays. Even during covid I've had good experiences with DHL international shipping, they also provide the customs charge right away which is better than FedEx/UPS. Only seems to go quickly if DHL handles everything, things get slow if there are hand-offs.
